Changing market needs in book production (Print on Demand technology's increasing market share) mean that customers (publishers or distributors) increasingly expect books to be printed in unit editions. Fewer and fewer print runs are being carried out at several thousand copies per day, while more and more are being heard about a few hundred or a few thousand works per day at a single piece.<\/p>\n

The book distribution model is changing to accepting orders through the online store and going directly into production.<\/p>\n

The situation is similar, for example, with operating instructions, where the factory orders instructions one or more days in advance for planned production.<\/p>\n

Creasing is carried out using a bar, the distances are dynamically matched to the insert, there is no need to manually set up creasing disks. The machine creases in both directions, can punch up to 13 times, so it is possible to realize, among other things, binding with wings.<\/p>\n

The solutions used mean that the machine can work at full capacity with each subsequent binding of a different thickness (without losing time to change settings).<\/p>\n
