Unleash the full potential of your printing press. Inline, the BB3002 creates a fully automated production line "from file to finished book." With proven interface modules such as Bourg Book Compiler (BBC), the wrapping machine seamlessly connects to digital machines from market leaders such as:

versatility OFFLINE mode: flexibility and maximum efficiency
Working offline gives you full freedom and allows you to make maximum use of your machine park. One BB3002 wrapping machine can handle orders from many different machines - digital and offset - without blocking their work. Two unique feeding solutions are available in this mode:
- BSF Feeder: For high-volume, high-speed production with output of up to 18,000 sheets per hour.
- BBL Feeder: Unique on the market for semi-automatic operation. Load up to 120 cartridges and walk away - the machine will retrieve and bind each cartridge by itself, perfect for many short runs.
State-of-the-art book binding technology
🤖 Intelligent automation: terminal-caliber and GUI
At the heart of the machine is a self-adjusting clamp with a built-in caliber. All the operator has to do is insert the book insert - the machine will automatically measure its thickness and set all the necessary working parameters in a fraction of a second: milling depth, position of the big on the cover, pressure force and glue time. All orders can be stored in the memory of the intuitive touch-screen control panel (GUI).
✨ Highest quality back: EVA/PUR milling and bonding
A powerful milling module (0-3 mm adjustment) with four notching knives aggressively opens the paper structure, guaranteeing perfect glue penetration and binding durability. The system offers two gluing technologies: efficient EVA glue with separate side bonding and ultra-durable PUR glue in a hermetically sealed, waste-free system that does not require time-consuming daily cleaning.
📕 Perfect covers: knife creasing and non-stop feeder
Unlike standard wheel creasing, the BB3002 uses a professional knife creasing. It is the only method that does not break or damage paper fibers, guaranteeing a perfect bend line without toner cracking, even on dark, fully printed or laminated covers. The ability to make up to 13 big allows the production of books with wings.
✂️ Expansion with tripod and full line "Book Factory"
The BB3002 system is the foundation of a complete book factory. It can be expanded to include a fully automated, in-line tripod CMT-330TC, which trims finished books from three sides without manual intervention or changing clamps, even for book-on-demand (book-of-one) production. Such a line allows production from A to Z without operator involvement.
