Cutting labels with Akonda and iEcho - LCT and RK2 at Labelexpo!
LabelExpo Europe 2023 is the largest international event for the label and packaging industry, and Akonda representatives will be there - providing direct support for the iEcho booth! On 11-14.09 in Brussels, two label-cutting machines will be on display at booth 9C50 - the iEcho RK2, which cuts using a cutter head, and the iEcho LCT, which cuts labels by laser.

The iEcho RK2 is a digital cutting machine for self-adhesive materials, which finds application in the field of label processing. The machine integrates the functions of laminating, head cutting with as many as 4 knives, slitting, rewinding and waste discharge. Combined with the web guiding system, intelligent control technology of multiple cutting heads (up to 4), it can realize efficient roll-to-roll cutting and automatic processing. There is no need for a die-cutter, which opens new horizons for low-volume production of digitally printed labels!
The second machine on display will be the iEcho LCT laser die-cutting machine - an industrial solution for high-volume processing of diverse production. The machine is equipped with unwinding, lamination, web correction, laser cutting, openwork pickup, slitting and rewinding stations! The maximum web width is 390mm, and the cutting width is 350mm. The iEcho LCT uses 300W or 600W CO2 laser heads manufactured by Luxinar (UK). The productivity of the machine, depending on the type of work and the type of material being processed, is as high as 46m/min. The machine can realize notching (kiss-cut) or cutting.
