Automatic perforator FAR 5-55
The FAR 5-55 automatic perforator is designed to quickly perforate loose sheets in large quantities, making it possible to create holes of various sizes and shapes to suit binding systems such as wire, spiral or plastic combs.
The FAR 5-55 features high reliability and long service life, while fast and safe tool changes minimize downtime and increase productivity.
How it works:
The FAR 5-55 allows continuous feeding of materials of variable thickness, such as paper and lightweight cardboard. Sheets are taken in batches of 1.5-2 mm thickness, centered, and then perforated with precision. Special conveyors ensure that the sheets move safely to the perforation zone, where they are accurately registered and perforated.
The finished sheets are collected in numerical order, which facilitates further processing.
Features:
- Maximum perforation thickness: 2.5 mm per punch (1.5 mm standard).
- Maximum sheet size for perforation: 550 x 550 mm.
- Minimum sheet size: 160 x 120 mm.
- Operating speed: adjustable, up to 120 strokes per minute.
- Adjustable perforation distance from the edge: up to 40 mm.
- A wide range of perforating tools, including tools for plastic spirals.
