The R-500 T.S. spiral crimper is our "Best Seller" product - one of the most famous and simplest semi-automatic machines on the market. It is ideal for binding calendars and catalogs. It is extremely easy to operate, simple to maintain and extremely robust. Thanks to its high-precision binding with small diameters, it ensures perfect finishing of even the thinnest products. The machine is equipped with a modern touch control system.

How the R-500 T.S. spiral crimper works:

The operator enters the diameter, pitch and the desired number of coils per length into the computer. He then places the previously pre-punched product on the work table and presses the foot pedal.

The spiral crimper automatically unwinds the spool, cuts the wire and transfers each length to the binding tool.

A clamp on the work table locks the product, positioning the cut edge in the direction of the spiral. The table moves the product to the binding position, and the product is then bound with the closing tool, which can be quickly replaced when the diameter of the spiral changes. A hanger can also be inserted during the closing operation. The R-500 T.S. can be equipped with a semi-automatic hanger feeder with a length of 100-300 mm.

In addition, an automatic pendant formier for straight pendants is available to save time wasted on manually setting pendants on a semi-automatic feeder.

Features of the R-500 T.S. spiral crimper:

• It uses wires on spools with 3:1", 2:1" or 4:1" pitch.
• Excellent flexibility - can use 7 different wire diameters from 3/16" to 9/16" with the right tool sets.
• The maximum length of the fixture is 500 mm, and the minimum is 50 mm.
• The maximum thickness of binding is 11.5 mm from pre-punched sheets.
• Possibility of one wire binding, two identical for wall calendars or up to ten for skip-binding.
• Microprocessor control with touch screen.
• The spiral crimper works electrically and pneumatically, and must be connected to a source of compressed air.
