How does the R-800 spiral crimper work?
The operator enters the required parameters in the computer, such as diameter, pitch, number of coils per length and quantity to be bound.
The machine automatically unwinds the spool, counts and cuts the wire, and then transfers the sections to the binding area.
Once the calendar is placed on the table, the operator presses a foot pedal and the table moves the product to the binding station, where the spiral is inserted and closed with a special tool.
Features of the R-800 Spiral Crimper:
- Flexibility in use: It supports wires on spools with diameters from 3/16" to 9/16" in 3:1", 2:1" and 4:1" pitches, for a maximum binding thickness of 11.5 mm.
- Performance: Maximum binding lengths reach up to 800 x 1000 mm (32 x 40 inches) at speeds of up to 1,000 cycles per hour for greater efficiency.
- Intuitive operation: Controlled by a microprocessor with memory for up to 50 work sequences and the ability to automatically insert hangers during binding.
