The DP-4500 spiral binding machine is Rilecart's top-of-the-line machine, designed for flexibility, versatility and reliability. With its advanced automatic wire insertion system, the DP-4500 allows simultaneous punching and binding of books, notebooks, notebooks, calendars and other products using double spiral wire.
How the DP-4500 spiral machine works:
The production line consists of a DP-420 automatic double-sided punching machine, integrated with a B-599 H.F. automatic binding system.
The process begins by dividing the product into smaller pieces (notebooks) 5 mm thick, which are then punched separately thanks to a double punching tool (top and bottom). After punching, the notebooks are collected and transferred to the closing unit, where they are automatically spiralled. Both machines can operate in-line or independently, depending on production needs.

- It uses wires on spools, which provides continuity and convenience.
- It supports 3:1 and 2:1 pitch for wire sizes from 1/4" to 1-1/4".
- Binding size: maximum 420 x 600 mm, minimum 100 x 100 mm.
- Thickness of product division: max. 5 mm, min. 3 mm.
- Punch thickness: maximum 5 mm per punch.
- Dedicated tools for each spiral size ensure precise and durable binding.
- High production capacity: from 500 to 3,000 pieces per hour, depending on the thickness of the product:
- 3-5 mm (1 notebook) = 3000 pcs/hour
- 5-10 mm (2 notebooks) = 1500 pcs/hour
- 10-12 mm (3 notebooks) = 1000 pcs/hour
- 15-20 mm (4 notebooks) = 750 pcs/hour
- 20-25 mm (5 notebooks) = 600 pcs/hour
- The actual speed depends on the technical specifications of the product and the production organization. The speeds quoted refer to paper of at least 80 gsm.
