The CMT-330TC tripod is the most advanced book trimming technology. With a new 10.5 " color touch screen, easy-to-use operator interface and intelligent diagnostic assistance, the CMT 330TC leads the way in terms of ease of use. Automatic book dimension detection simplifies job programming, requiring only three dimensions to be entered. Alternatively, an integrated barcode reader can scan finish dimensions from a pre-printed barcode on the cover to automatically adjust knife settings. The CMT-330TC tripod is a fully automated, on-demand book-type trimming solution.
The new Challenge CMT-330TC tripod has expanded capability to finish BOOKS IN ALBUM FORMAT up to 307 mm high and wide (328 mm) and 149 mm high (1008) and 100 mm wide. Designed and built in Michigan-USA, the CMT-330TC uses powerful hydraulic cutting and clamping pressure to effortlessly cut a book up to 50.8 mm thick. The CMT-330TC uses servomotors and stepper motors to accurately position books for cutting. Full digital setup control allows the book to be resized in less than 6 seconds. There is no need for manual adjustments or replacement of the so-called "kicker" even when changing from minimum to maximum format.
The CMT-330TC tripod offers operation in manual binding feed mode, automatic mode, in-line with the edgebander, or mixed mode.
