The R-520 T.S. Spiral Crimper is a modern evolution of our flagship R-500 model, ideal for binding calendars and catalogs up to 1 inch (25.4 mm) thick. It is a semi-automatic machine that combines ease of use, low maintenance and exceptional durability.
Thanks to the modern touch control system and automatic feeding of bound products, the R-520 T.S. crimper increases the efficiency of work in any office and bindery.
How does it work?
Operation of the R-520 T.S. spiral crimper is extremely simple. The operator enters the diameter, pitch and the desired number of coils per length into the computer. He then places the previously pre-punched product on the work table and presses the foot pedal.
The machine automatically unwinds the spool, cuts the wire and transfers each length to the binding tool. A clamp on the work table locks the product, positioning the cut edge in the direction of the spiral. The table moves the product to the binding position, and the product is then bound with the closing tool, which can be quickly replaced when the diameter of the spiral changes. It is also possible to insert a hanger during the closing operation.

- Performance: The maximum binding thickness is 21 mm for pre-punched sheets, and the machine's speed is up to 1,200 cycles per hour, making it ideal for intensive production.
