Akonda's installation of the iEcho PK0604 Plus plotter at the W2Print printing house in Warsaw has been successfully completed.
W2print's cooperation with Akonda has been going on for several years, trust has been earned and competence verified in early 2019, with the installation of the most user-friendly GMP Qtopic 380F foil-gilding machine. Qtopic allows W2Print to produce gilding on diplomas, invitations and advertising materials that stand out from the standards.
At the end of 2020, the W2Print team decided on the iEcho PK 0604 PLUS creasing and cutting plotter. The decision was significantly influenced by the value of work automation - the plotter is equipped with a sheet feeder (up to 64x45cm format), automatic loading on the workspace and automatic unloading of cut sheets, which practically eliminates one operator. The machine is equipped with two trailing knives, which is ideal for the main need of printers, namely ricing and cutting out stickers printed on self-adhesive paper. Print positioning is done by reading the position of the markers using a camera - a solution that ensures accuracy to fractions of a millimeter.
In addition to slitting and cutting self-adhesive paper, the iEcho PK0604 Plus cuts chalked paper, cardboard, PET, magnetic film and, using an oscillating knife, also corrugated and solid cardboard or foamed PVC.
The attached creasing wheel allows the realization of boxes, unusual folding invitations, labels and similar products.
The installation of the iEcho PK0604 Plus has brought W2Print, a Warsaw-based printing company, automation and cost reduction in sticker production, as well as the ability to offer customers new, customized products that allow them to stand out from the crowd.
