It is probably the most extensive bindery harvester on the market. Building on the success of the SCC series in the Polish market, Akonda is introducing the latest impressive Ausjetech 9375BSC multifinisher.
This is the first device on the market that combines so many functionalities necessary in any printing house, automates production processes and saves time and money.
This is the first multifinisher to allow two tooling strips - so a sheet of paper can be creased in opposite directions - ideal for softcover binding - or combine perforations with creasing - ideal for coupons, folded flyers. Interchangeable creasing strips available in widths of 0.6; 1; 1.4mm and perforation strips of 12, 24, 48 TPI are already standard on all SCC/BSC series machines and provide the highest quality creasing for the full range of supported weights from 110 to 400g/m2.
The manufacturer has taken care of the ideal paper path - the paper is fed through a centrally located suction belt so there is virtually no physical possibility of a skew. However, if a skew would be desirable (for example, in a situation where the image is unevenly printed) - from the control panel with the help of buttons you can change the feeder's alignment in relation to the section responsible for cutting and creasing. When working with digital printing, electrostatics is always a challenge - blowing air on the guillotine causes the electrified paper cuttings to be blown off the guillotine and fall onto the belt leading the cuttings out of the machine. Blows on the feeder (blows and paper suction force controlled independently) are so strong that the device perfectly picks up sheet after sheet from the sauce with a maximum height of 150mm. To ensure the continuity of the process, any double paper pick-ups are caught by an ultrasonic sensor, and the unwanted sheet is moved out to the tray under the feeder.
The innovative piecemeal perforation module eliminates punches for most jobs. Perforation can be performed in several ways - through a perforating bar across the entire sheet and a standard perforating disc across the entire length of the sheet - or through a module that perforates across the sheet at a programmed location on a programmed part, and perforating discs (set from the desktop screen) in which the perforation start and end points are set.
The cassette for additional tools allows the installation of additional perforating, creasing (along the acrue) or slitting discs, so that it is possible to realize the cutting of business cards printed parallel to the long side with 5 usages.
Programming of the device is done conveniently from the device's control panel. Programs can be recalled using a bar-code system, thus reducing confusion and unnecessary paperwork to a minimum. A new feature of the Ausjetech 9375 BSC is integration with EFI impose and direct sending of slitting settings from the computer to the multifinisher.
The Ausjetech 9375 BSC bookbinding machine supports paper widths up to 370mm, the speed of the machine is up to 24 sheets per minute (when working - cutting bleeds from an A4 sheet).
